You're wrong on your first point.

I understand why you dodge the second point. I have a good friend who I disagree about on this point strongly. He at least has the balls to admit that eating beef is, in his words, "delicious murder." If you don't care about raising sentient beings for a short torturous life before being slaughtered, at least own it. I did for many decades. I wish I hadn't but I did.
