You're welcome and thanks for the thoughts. As I've noted multiple times (but not to you), I am avoiding making full posts just as I avoid monetizing my Medium account.
My day job is very time consuming right now and will be for the next couple of years. To avoid setting up a time conflict that would stress me more (me knowing my personality), I keep my Medium presence to commenting until I retire or change my day job significantly.
The app is "Strong." It has a couple of features such as the "rest period timer" that I really like. I've been working out again regularly (3-6 times per week) for the last 7 years. In that time I've tried multiple logging methods. The Strong app recommendation came from a great friend who has used it for several years and whose opinion I trust almost implicitly.
Since I'm giving recommendations, I'll add YouTube channels Athlean-X for a lot of general stuff and Renaissance Periodization for more hardcore lifting tips and techniques. I don't say either is perfect and/or I follow all their advice, but great food for thought.
Sport specific (boxing) I recommend Tony Jeffries and Precision Striking. Even more than lifting, boxing is very dependent on personal factors, so you have to look at a lot of content and see how it fits with your body. In general both those sites are great for general tips and specific training ideas.
