You're not talking about America of 2024. America is run by a few hundred ultra-wealthy families who control mega-corporations that control the 3 letter security agencies through legally bribing the politicians who are supposed to hold those agencies in check.

Trump was a bad president, but he was already president once and the country survived. Trump is mega but not ultra-wealthy, and not completely controllable. Now and then he goes off-script. He says the quiet part out loud now and then. That is why the establishment hates him. It is probably the only thing I like about him.
