Your justification of dates chosen, deciding "that doesn't count" because facts don't fit your narrative is a big frothy mug of cope.

If Ukraine had implemented Minsk II between 2015 and 2022, which Russia tried VERY hard to do, then Luhansk and Donetsk would be part of Ukraine right now. It was Ukraine, Germany, France and the US that blocked that implementation, not Russia. To now retroactively claim that those Oblasts "don't count" is just silly.

We'll see in the next weeks and months where the lines on map move near Bakhmut and Donetsk.

The LiveUAmap site - based solely on official Ukraine military reports - has been an excellent source of Ukraine slanted status. The map shows Ukraine advances immediately, and Russian advances delayed by sometimes days. This makes it a very good source for judging how much Russia is losing or winning without having to rely on unreliable Russian sources.

The daily list of who is attacking whom makes it clear that except for the impressive defense of Kyiv early on, and the Western backed surge in September, Ukraine is on the defensive.

Ukraine's defenses are impressive, and Ukrainian fighters are brave and tough, but the material, logistical and soon numerical advantages are all on Russia's side. Barring direct intervention from NATO, Russia will eventually win.

A perfect example is the recent HIMARS destruction by Ukraine of a Russian barracks, killing 80+ Russians. This has been all over the western news for weeks. What is not reported in the western news is that on the same day, Russia had 4 similar strikes on Ukraine. That is the way of this war. Individual and impressive attacks by Ukraine, in between relentless attacks by Russia.
