Your first paragraph is bullshit. Clearly there were enough police there, and a 17-yr-old heavily armed and armoured civilian is at best a threat.

That being said, your second paragraph is 100% correct.

The solution is that Rittenhouse should not have been there armed and armoured. No one should have been.
