Your bullet list on what we should be doing is great but incomplete. We need to be agressively working on finding mitigating medicines for people who get Covid.

We cannot vaccinate and social distance our way out of this. Demonizing doctors studying ivermectin or whatever will only make things worse.

Eventually most all of us will have to get covid. Those of us (like me) who are vaccinated will probably have a better time of it. But if we don't want societal breakdown, we have to accept that catching and treating Covid early MUST be part of the solution. Telling people who - for whatever reason - didn't get vaccinated and catch Covid "Tough luck asshole. Please die quietly." is asking for trouble. It's stupid, vindictive, and self-defeating.
