You were kind of all over the map (and globe) on this one. The vast majority of people are not violent. Studies have shown that it is culture, not genetics, that make us violent.

About 2% (IIRC) of people are sociopaths. The problem (IMHO) is that the current system we have rewards sociopathic behavior.

Regarding Ukraine: Ask the people in the Donbas who wouldn't accept the 2014 coup (Note: Yanukovych - the most popular politician in Ukraine at the time - was forced to flee Ukraine. The following president was elected unconstitutionally. Both actions based on the threat of violence. That IS a coup) if the war started when the Russians invaded.

For some Ukrainians, the bombing stopped when the Russians invaded.
