You seem to think very highly of yourself. I've known PhDs mechanical engineering with decades of "experience" who knew less than a plumber's apprentice about how piping really works, so I'm going to go ahead and say you're full of yourself. Which just so happens to mean you're also full of shit.

Nothing has happened, eh? What do call the invasion of Ukraine, Einstein? I guess we've just established how much of an expert you are.

What if Russia wants Alaska back? Maybe you missed this tiny point, Mr. "expert on nuclear weapons and nuclear proliferation and nuclear strategy" but - I hope you're sitting down - the US has nuclear weapons, too. Really. It's true. So the US has red lines that other countries have to recognize as well. And they do, for the most part.

Maybe you've heard of the Monroe Doctrine? Or didn't you learn about that in "nuclear weapons and nuclear proliferation and nuclear strategy" school. That has been a "red line" of the US' for 200 years. Only recently has Latin America felt emboldened enough to cross it. /

One thing I've learned over the years is that the more someone repeats what an expert they are as a preface to whatever they are saying, the less sure of themselves they really feel.

Nuclear weapons are defensive in nature, eh? Did you skip the semester on Japan in WWII in "nuclear weapons and nuclear proliferation and nuclear strategy" school?

Did you also skip the lectures regarding US weapons policy? Hint: It is not the same as Russian, and most specifcally unlike Russian policy, US does NOT rule out using nuclear weapons offensively.

This has been fun in a mean-spirited kind of way.

When you say you are "retired" do you mean retired, or you were retired?

Don't bother answering. It was a rhetoric question and I wouldn't trust your response in any case.
