You have it exactly backwards. Capitalism without socialism is the law of the jungle. Without a social framework of markets, regulations, laws, courts, and an executive to enforce the above, you will get nowhere above what individuals or very small groups lead by dictators can produce. People have always grouped together to pool resources and have more and be more than each individual alone. That is socialism.
