If we took the puritanical stick out our collective ass and completely decriminalized sex work then the level of unclear terms, childen and exploitation involved would drop to levels as in all other areas of service work.

The problem isn’t sex work per se, the problem is we (“we” meaning mostly men with serious control issues) have been waging a war on sex for millennia. The failure of that war is matched only by the monumental failure known as “The War on Drugs,” and for similar reasons. I read about both in some history books.
