Yes. IMO there are a few changes to US financial policy that would fix 80% of the problems with the US investment system. Don't get me wrong, that last 20% takes 80% of the work, and the US has lots of other problems to be fixed, but since US GDP and thus government policy is dominated by finance and financiers, fixing these would grab that low-hanging fruit.

- Return to taxing capital gains = to income

- Restore Glass-Stegal

- Return to high marginal tax rates

- Return to high inheritance taxes
