Yes, for the simple reason that the agency is named the "Environmental Protection Agency" (EPA) and not the "Prioritize Energy Production Agency" (PEPA).

I'm with you on all of Trump's other nominations, including people with whom I have huge misgivings on some of their policy positions. Trump has named people who are qualified enough to do the jobs. Trump got a mandate - let him fulfill it. If they suck, we'll know soon enough.

The country wants change. A majority (that did not include me) voted for Trump. Let him try.

All that being said and back to the beginning: We still need a country to live in. Fracking is fucking horrible for the environment. Short term AND long term. What use is cheap energy if you don't have a safe and clean place to live when you want to use it?
