Wow. You're living on the edge, girl. I have not gone back and looked on Facebook. I've changed a LOT since the 80s.

I was always the one to break up. In retrospect (and after a shitton of therapy) I think part of it is because I had a lot of issues (OK. a lot MORE issues) and some part of me knew it would only be a matter of time before a normal woman would kick me to the curb. So eventually, I found a non-normal woman to stay with me and become my ex-wife. Life is beautiful. :-)
