Which is where we are now in all areas except around Bakhmut.

In those other areas (not Bakhmut) it will now be seen if the Russians let the Ukrainians overextend themselves and will push back, or if the Russians lost too many men and too much material. Western sources (I don't trust Russian sources to be objective about this) say Ukraine lost 5:1 men and material taking that land back.

In Bakhmut, Russia looks poised for another victory similar to Mariupol, but if Russia is successful it will probably faster for multiple reasons. We'll see.

The 300k reinforcements from Russia have yet to enter the war. It is also yet to be seen what change that will bring to the various fronts.
