What's really delusional is that the 1% and particularly the 0.1% (and smaller) think they will survive in their New Zealand bunkers.
These people in their bunkers will all need security. When society breaks down there will be no cops, no courts and no prisons run by civil society. Do you think the ex-Navy Seal/RAF/Mossad dude is going to sleep on cot guarding Elon Musk rather than just shoot Musk and take over? Why wouldn't he? Who's going to stop him? Musk can't buy loyalty when there are no more banks.
The arrogance and stupidity of the ultra wealthy that they believe they will stay on top when the system they currently are on top of no longer exists is risible.
