What made me not be a sociopath? Growing up with loving (if flawed like all humans) parents who taught me the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."

I'm against having people bomb, shoot and starve my family. Therefore I'm against bombing, shooting and starving other families. Even [GASP!] families of other colors, religions, and values.

I'm against people stealing my home and driving me from where I live. Therefore I'm against doing that to other people.

The concept is pretty easy to follow...if you're not a sociopath.
