What? I was told that systemic racism ended with the US Civil War 150 years ago!
I've known about this story for decades. I lived with the endemic casual racism of SE Texas for a dozen years, and I have family across the Old South. Anyone who believes that racism is dead in the US Old South is either naive, lying, or in denial.
