What a great list. I'd give you 1000 claps if I could.
The summer before I went off to college (in the days before cell phones), I met a girl at a party and we had sex, at the party. She told me she had no protection and I took "direct action."
I was a poor college student so the next we talked I called her when I was home for Thanksgiving. My younger brother told me years later he only heard the words, "How pregnant are you?" before I closed the door to the room I'd dragged the phone to.
For ten minutes I thought I was an 18 year old father until she told me that she had gotten back together with her old boyfriend, and he was (is) the father.
That 10 minutes of contemplating how my life was going to be changed me forever.
Our son is now about to get married, after having parents who made it clear to him as a teenager that we understand he is going to want to have sex, that we understand how much fun sex is, and how it is important to use a condom EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
No grandkids so far!
Again, a great list. I'm saving for reference!
