Well put. Since the US puts SOOO much effort into making sure none of our adversaries gets nukes, you'd think your post would be the understood position.

It seems to me that since the USSR fell apart, the US has gotten so used to bullying other countries that we move into fantasy land when dealing with the fact that we cannot bully Russia into a path THEY see as leading to non-existance. Not liking that fact doesn't make it any less of a fact.
