Virtually noone with authority in NATO suggests sending troops to fight Russia head-on in Ukraine. Certainly not the US.

If Russia is to be defeated, that means boots on the ground at the border to Russia. Can you imagine what would happen if we started shipping thousands of troops towards Russia's border? Do people think Russia would just sit quietly and wait?

Particularly after how Russia did not wait for the people in the Donbass to be wiped out in Feb 22, there is no way they'd just sit back while NATO amasses troops.

The best scenario is I get to die in the initial round of nuclear blasts.
