Ukraine gave a "hero of the nation" award (posthumously) to Stephan Bandera. He was a Nazi collaborator in WWII and the patron saint of the Nazis who have been in Ukraine since WWII.

The Maidan coup would not have been successful without the violence and muscle of the Ukrainian Nazis. They bragged about it.

After the coup, the Nazis were rewarded with three cabinet seats, several state governorships, and very many other appointed posts like mayors and deputy police chiefs (Nazis tend not to do well in elections, but they are great at just taking power).

The openly Nazi Azov battalion was officially integrated into the official armed forces after proving their worth at Maidan and then in their willingness to kill fellow Ukrainians in the Donbas.

When asked about the Nazis in the armed forces, Zelensky himself just says, "They are who they are." No denouncement, no rebuttal, just acceptance that Nazis are part of the gov't in Ukraine.

Those are some of the key differences between far-right groups in other coutries, and actual Nazis having large official and even larger unofficial power in Ukraine.
