Those are the reasons (and a few more) are why I decided to stay in Austria with (at that time) a young son and not return to the US, or a few years later, to take a job in the Netherlands.

Yes there were a shitton of other (some major) factors that I'm not listing in a short comment, but my biggest reason regarding my son is that I wanted him to be able to be a kid with only kid problems and not add adult problems on top.
