This whole article was very interesting, but I like this line a lot. For hundreds to thousands of years we have convinced ourselves that we know all there is to know about our ancient history. Technological developments in the last 50 years are slowly turning that presumption on its head.

I may not live to see the accepted knowledge refuted to the point that researchers can devote themselves again to discovery, but it is nice to see the progress in this direction.
