This story has been debunked months ago, but like a zombie won't die. They did not find washing machine components in Russian tanks. IIRC, they found computer chips similar to commercial chips in either a missile or a tank, and through retelling the story has become the one you are repeating.

If you count the number of missiles and tanks Russia is firing daily and sending to Ukraine, there would be no more appliances in Europe.

Russia is most likely making their own chips by now. US /EU level of technology? Of course not. But they don't need cutting edge technology. Washing machine level technology obviously will suffice. ;-)
