Those getting up in years have seen this slide since Reagan started crushing unions in the 80s, and then Clinton ramped up the assault on the poor and working class in the 90s.

Turns out, pre-Trump American sucked for about 80% of the country. That is why this election isn't a blowout for Biden. Bernie woulda mopped the fucking floor with Trump - even though Bernie has almost no political spine.

Biden is offering NOTHING that a vast majority of the country wants. Trump was a roll of the dice in 2016, but what he really represents is a US public that wants to change direction from the Neoliberal policies of the last 40 years. Biden is not that. Ergo, it is a nail-biter election against an openly racist, xenophobic, incompetent idiot of a president.
