This is a link to a map made by Ukrainians based on Ukrainian military releases. It has a time function that you can use to see the front lines since the invasion started.

The Ukrainian military disagrees with your analysis of the situation. Russia continues to hold ground, on average, and slowly gain ground, on average, since they pulled back from Kyiv and after Ukraine's successful Fall Offensive last year.

Russia still holds about 20% of Ukraine, and has just won one of, if not the, decisive battle in Bakhmut (I should probably use the Russian name now but I don't know it by heart yet).

There have been significantly fewer civilian deaths in Ukraine than there were when the US invaded Iraq. About a 50% lower rate. So if Putin is Hitler, then the US is "Double Nazi Germany."

If we look at a map of international military bases I think Russia has 3, and the US about 900. So if Russia is expansionist, the US is 300 times more expansionist.

By whatever metric you choose, or horrible thing (and there are plenty!) that you can list Russia or Putin as doing, the US has done far more and far worse.

Putin is a brutal dictator, no doubt. So if we've done far worse than Putin and Russia, what does that make us?

Whenever they do a worldwide poll and ask what country is the most dangerous to world peace, the US wins that poll by a large margin.

We should mind our own fucking business and stop fomenting wars halfway across the world. The millions of Ukrainians who have lost 100s of thousands of their countrymen, not to mention their country, would be a lot better off if we had followed Obama's advice and not provoked Russia on Ukraine any more than we did.
