This exit has been on the books for 18 months. Yes Biden is ultimately responsible, but if the US military had REALLY been planning to leave since signing the agreement with the Trump admin - an agreement that said they would already be gone by now, BTW - then either a) The US military allowed this to happen on purpose or b) they are too incompetent to do their jobs. There is certainly no (c) where there are no voices of the MIC in the MSM reporting each week for the last 18 months that shit is going to fall apart immediately.

For the last 20 years we've been told by every president and every head of the military forces in and related to Afghanistan that everyhing is going fine. Biden definitely gets some blame for that, but he doesn't get the blame for us all being lied to for 20 years when he's only been president for 7 months.

I don't even like Biden (although I dislike him less than Trump in many ways). Didn't vote for him and think he's a demented creeper. I support him in this decision. I don't hold out any hope, but I'd be happy if he pulled our military and miliatary support out of Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Ukraine, Nigeria, Venezuela, Colombia, Uruguay, Cuba, Japan, South Korea, Germany and the Congo, to name a few.
