They'll fight as partisans with small arms against the well-armed and trained Russians. They'll get slaughtered.

For what? So that the Russian-leaning Donbass can be reintegrated with Ukraine? Oh, wait. Russia and Ukraine already signed that deal. It was called Minsk II. Poroshenko (the Ukrainian president who signed Minsk II), Hollande, Merkel and now Zelenskyy have all said they never planned to implement Minsk II, and only used it to dupe Russia into giving Ukraine enough time to arm.

Instead of "working together to help each other improve" Ukraine chose to prepare for war against Russia. Those are the words of the current and former Ukrainian presidents.

I understand Ukraine doesn't want to be conquered. I don't think Russia is interested in all of Ukraine (certainly not the western part). I could be wrong.

In any case the current battlegrond looks to favor Russia beating Ukraine.
