There are lots of places in Europe where you'll find this attitude. The entire Benelux, lots of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, to name a few.

If I showed you a picture of my backyard my flat would be larger, but other than that it'd be very similar. LOTS of green (even some moss on our terraces); our bikes. If I set up the photo you could also see the empty parking spot where our second car used to be and I could put a couple of my tool boxes out that I use to do home repairs (including bike maintenance).
