The problem with your definitions is in the second term and it's connection to the third. You have made an assumption that there is (currently) no evidence for.

Iran does not have troops involved. Providing or selling arms to groups does not mean Iran was involved in this operation. According to both Israel and the US, there is no evidence that Iran was involved. Iran also denies it (although I don't count the Iranian government as a trustworthy source on this subject).

The US is THE key military sponsor of Israel. Israel has committed war crimes for decades against the Palestinians. So the terrorism of Israel against Palestinians, and the US "state-sponsoring" of Israel are absolutely relevant to this discussion.

Gaza has been blockaded - illegally - for 17 years. The horrific acts of terrorism that happened on Saturday did not happen in a vacuum. Terrorism begets terrorism.

These are NOT "topics for another discussion," they are the reason we having this discussion at all.
