The point was to get someone heading the Public Relations Department (aka White House) of the inverted totalitarian US that knows not to say the quiet part out loud like Trump does.

There is virtually no difference policy-wise between the Rs and Ds. Biden will probably be a bit better domestically and a lot worse internationally (Trump didn't start any new wars - although he came close!).

The ONLY issue for "the Resistance" is having a president who lies better than Trump does; a very low bar.
