The only thing I'd nitpick in this fantastic essay is that there is no way Biden would resign to let Harris be president for a few weeks.

1) He's pissed as fuck that he was replaced. There are decent odds that he sandbagged Harris a couple of times at least

2) Biden has a massive ego. No way he is going to

3) Joe must be in the White House in January to pardon Hunter on the last day. Doing that on say, the Friday after Thanksgiving and then resigning would be like clogging the toilet at Kamala's Thanksgiving party. It would tarnish the legacy Biden actually cares about: Decorum. Biden clearly doesn't care about his legacy of genocide or supporting illegal wars of aggression.
