We (my wife and I) are way behind the curve on watching shows, movies and even some sporting events (e.g. boxing matches). We work hard to avoid spoilers (e.g. avoid IMDB like the plague!) and don't talk to friends / acquaintances particularly about shows. Being a natural misanthrope is definitely a bonus there.

I digress. We were watching "The Closer" several years after the show began. We happened to mention this to a neighbor at the time. She decided, with a wicked grin, to spit out a couple of spoilers. She is a jerk, but not stupid. She knew exactly what she was doing. We of course still enjoyed the episodes, but we never forgave her.
