That is roughly the order I'd vote for those candidates in the GE. In the D primary (in Texas you don't have to a member of a party to vote in a primary - but only one of course) I'd vote for RFK Jr. I despise his stance on Israel/Palestine, but even with his horrible opinion there overall I still see him as a net positive.
Ramaswamy is good on Ukraine...but only because he thinks we should save our powder for China. So out of the Ukrainian frying pan and into the Taiwanese fire...
DeSantis is for me a net negative, so no vote no matter what.
Fortunately West is in the race, so I don't have to contemplate voting for Trump. I can't stand him, but even worse than his policies is how the R and D establishment is trying to make an example out of him to discourage any outsider from even attempting to run. If they succeed then any semblence of US democracy (hanging by a tenuous thread as it is...) will be gone, IMHO.
As someone I follow keeps pointing out, if Bernie had had the guts to really try to win - he would have beaten Trump. And what the establishment is now doing to Trump, they'd be doing to Bernie. We saw in 2016 and 2020 how they were already preparing lawfare and #Russiagate against him, had he continued to press.
Apropos I'm wondering how far the DNC will go to crush RFK Jr. I would think physical violence is not on the menu, but I'm not too hopeful there.
