That is easy: Because they are women. If I titled an article, “Don’t Tell Me All Women Aren’t Gold-Digging Whores” and then proceeded to write about the myriad examples of women I have known who are wonderful (i.e. the vast majority) I’d expect basically the same response from a woman. And she’d be right.
