That is a bullshit copout. Even though privilege is primarily socioeconomic, there IS a racial disadvantage in the US. Particularly for black men.

There are lots of examples of wealthy, famous black men who are treated like criminals for the "crime" of being black in America. Ahmaud Arbery wasn't hunted down and shot because he was poor. Henry Louis Gates wasn't arrested because he was poor. Michael Bennett didn't have guns drawn on him because he was poor. I can do this all damn day.
