Thanks. I really like your comment as well.

Too right that the duopoly won't help us, young or old, poor or rich. Oh, wait, they'll definitely help the rich.

Trump and Biden are to my mind about equally bad, just in different ways. Both of them will do nothing (IMO) to help the Palestinians. Unless - public opinion and some big money turns against Israel. Then Trump would at least rhetorically support them. That potential 5% deviation from the oligarch line is why "everyone" (meaning the MSM) hates Trump, because he is not a 100% dependable war-monger like Biden-his-time (<- that's nice! stealing for future use!)

Those in power have failed to understand how the technology that allows them to surveil us 24/7 also allows us to see news on the ground in real or near real time. Those at the top are living like it is 1992 and they can lie to our faces and we won't know they said the exact opposite 24 hours ago, or that there are 100 videos exposing their lies.

That is exactly the situation in Gaza. 1000+ videos of dead Gazan children can't ALL be fake. 1000+ videos of Gaza being razed to the ground can't ALL be fake. The instantaneous video evidence of the genocide we (US taxpayers) are paying for cannot be suppressed. That is why Israel cut power to Gaza, and why Biden doesn't want a cease-fire, because it would allow journalists into Gaza to report the damage on MSM channels and not just YouTube, Telegram, etc.

If smartphone video technology had been ubiquitous 20 years ago the "shock and awe" of the Iraqi war would have resulted in the same type of backlash against the US. Maybe not at the level against Israel, who has been ethnically cleansing the Palestinians for 75 years, but close.

Back in 2003 the saying was, "CNN shows the rockets launching. Al Jazeera shows the rockets landing." Now nearly everyone has the possibility to show the rockets landing. Israel and the US can deny only so much reality before it becomes obvious they are lying. That is also why (IMO) Israeli propaganda is so farcically bad to the point of looking like SNL skits. Israel has never had to put any effort into propaganda before. Hopefully they won't have time to improve before we can get the bombing stopped.
