Thanks. I come from a point of fairness and equality. Either there is international law for all, or there isn't. It is ridiculous for us to claim Russia has no right to do what we in the west have been doing for decades (at least). We are facing the same situation in China, not just BTW.

That doesn't make what Russia (and we're talking about a country - Putin is not an all-powerful dictator micromanaging every action in Russia) is doing in Ukraine "ok." What is happening in Ukraine is fucking horrible. It needs to end ASAP.
But we will never come to a peaceful resolution if we in the west continue to stand on the indefensible position that this conflict started on 24 February 2022, or that instead of international law we have a nebulous "rules based order" where the rules are made and changed on the whims of the US.
