Thanks for this post. I donated just now to the Gaza Emergency Appeal. I donated specifically to UNWRA because of the bullshit claims of Israel against UNWRA.

10 years ago one of my companies worked with the UNHCR. We met some higher ups in Bonn, Germany. Since those experiences I have nothing but good things to say about UN relief agencies.

Even if there were individuals in UNWRA that have contact or were even part of Hamas terrorist groups (so far no evidence that this is true), defunding the entire UNWRA is as ridiculous as Israel's claims that they have to blow up schools, hospitals and refugee camps to defeat Hamas.
