Thanks for the praise. I have consciously NOT published, nor monetized my Medium presence. I know my personality way too well.

I have a LOT of work (I'm self-employed) and medium is a break from my technical work. I spend too much time on Medium as it is. If I was making money from Medium, I would feel compelled to spend much more time writing, editing and posting regularly - which would detract from my day job which pays way better than Medium.

What happens next depends on too many factors to say definitively. If things continue roughly as now, Ukraine gets wrecked (h/t 2015 John Mearsheimer), Ukraine politicians and oligarchs get rich along with US MIC and energy companies, and Russia gets more than they would have gotten from Minsk II, of course at great cost in the short term.
