I moved to Europe a long time ago, and here there is a social policy not based on 100% exploitation of workers as in the US, a very strong safety net, and a "Medicare for All"-type single payer system. I also very lucky to be in the top group of earners that was not yet hit. As a business owner I think we will be next year like we did after the 2008 crash. But all in all here in Austria life is slowly returning to normal - hopefully a 2nd big wave won't hit in the fall.

I went vegan 4 years ago, and I only wish I'd done it as a teenager. Much more energy, much better digestion, better for the skin, cheaper and of course better for the environment and the animals. I recommend it to anyone, but eating less meat is definitely great!

I know from others living in Austria that it is tougher outside of Vienna (where I am), but I know from my frequent travels to the US since going Vegan that it is really easy to eat vegan in the US - although sadly US vegatables don't often taste as good as ours here.
