Thanks for letting everyone know you think international politics is the same as personal relationships. They are not.
Do you also believe that personal finance is the same as the US government's budget? Spoiler alert: They are also not.
$21 million for "voter turnout" in India. $29 million for "strengthening the political landscape in Bangladesh." That is at best massive election meddling, at worst regime change. That kind of money is being spent all over the world by the US. In 1996 the cover of Time magazine bragged that the US manipulated the public in Russia to get Boris Yeltsin elected.
This doesn't make Russia "the good guy" in Ukraine. But Russia has a lot more legitimate interest in what goes on in Ukraine directly on its border than the US, which is 10,000 kilometers away.
It is certainly not right that Russia invaded. It is even less right that the US tried to change the Ukraine election results in 2004, then backed a coup in 2014, then tormented the civil war for 8 years while putting CIA stations on the border to Russia, armed the Nazi Azov battalion, supported every escalation against the separatists in the East while turning down or ignoring every entreaty by Russia to find a diplomatic solution.
Yeah, Putin is a bad guy. Yeah, Russia invaded. And also Yeah, the US did everything possible to bring about that invasion- in a country 10,000 kilometers away with VERY little trade with the US.
This situation doesn't fit your simplistic "rape scenario."
