Thank you very much for the praise and I feel the same about you.

I would say the majority of Americans have those traits. Unfortunately the US is the most propagandized nation on earth (with the possible exception of North Korea).

Living some decades now in Central Europe I have changed my views on what I think would be the best future for Europe. The cultural differences are what make Europe unique and interesting. Many major European cities are losing their uniqueness as KFC, Subway, Dominoes, McDonalds and Burger King put mom and pop restaurants and cafés out of business, while Amazon puts everyone else out of business. Eventually that will kill tourism. What's the point of travel if Hamburg looks just like Vienna looks just like Bucharest looks just like Madrid?

I have the entire Monty Python series on DVD.

I like your choice of visual metaphor.

In that exact same vein Bond, James Bond, is an entirely British spy. Jeff Bezos, massive CIA contractor, is going to put a KFC-spin on what should be strictly a fish and chips movie franchise. Over time there will be virtually no difference between James Bond and Jason Bourne/Jack Ryan/Jack Reacher.
