Sustainability. That is the issue.

I have reached middle age healthy and with some measure of wealth and success. I have gone through many phases in my life to this point. With advancing age my own mortality gets clearer to me, as does my perspective on humans and our relationship to each other and the earth.

I founded my own company and grew it, but as I got some wisdom and perspective, I understood that a sustainable business cannot be one that depends on constant growth.

In the same way, humans being born at roughly the same rate while living 10 times longer is not sustainable. TBH, I think we'll first see a dystopian future like in the 2013 film Elysium, where near-immortality will be available only to the ultra-rich, who will not allow the technology to be shared with the masses.

A thought provoking post!!!
