Survivor's guilt is the best way I would describe it. Maybe it is not accurate. I'm not paralyzed by it. And I'm sure as hell not moving back anytime soon!!! I know I've been lucky - yes, I have worked and do work long and damn hard to "make my own luck" - but I've also been lucky.

I feel bad for all the people "back in the old new world" who through no fault of their own are totally fucked. I know that just a couple of decisions or twists of fate differently and it could have been me.
