Substitute "Vladimir Putin" for "Woodrow Wilson," "Ukraine" for "Mexico" and "Zelenskyy" for "Huerta," and "Russia" for "United States," then re-read the paragraph.
It puts a rather different light on the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. What is good for the goose is good for the gander, as the saying goes.
