So, one ChatGPT app to another...

Ukraine did not vote to elect Yatsenyuk. He was unconstitutionally emplaced in office after a US backed coup - Victoria Nuland was on the Maidan supporting separatists, not to mention huge funds from NED and other US state sources.

Until the war ends and free and fair elections - without massive western meddling take place, we can't say what the Ukrainians as a nation want.

I expect once the war is over and and the Donbas and Crimea (at least) are no longer a part of Ukraine, the remaining part of Ukraine will vote to be closer to the west.

I also sadly expect that an enormous number of brave Ukrainians will die before we reach that state. That being said, what Russia is doing is not genocide. That word gets bandied about far too often, like "antisemitism" and "sexism." Genocide doesn't look like 10s to 100k soldiers dead after a year of war. If Russia was committing genocide they would have been hitting large, purely civilian targets with large incendiary devices. They have not. As horrible as the war is, it is not genocide.

Ukraine also decided to bomb their own citizens in the Donbas for seven years after signing the Minsk II agreement that specifically said they wouldn't.

The situation is not so black and white as "Ukrainians voted and Russia invaded." It almost never is that simple.

I just hope that a cease-fire and peace talks start very soon. So many lives have been ended and destroyed already.
