Since Russia has about 3-10 times (depending where on the front) the number of artillery pieces that Ukraine has, Russia's barrels don't wear out as fast.

When Russia's artillery do need to be replaced, they have much shorter supply lines than those of Ukraine 1000 km to Poland and then 1000 km back.
