Russia is constantly hostile? To whom?
Russia exists alone since 1991
Chechnya (1994-1999) - inside Russia. Was a shit-show, no doubt. I personally know multiple refugees. Possibly a false flag by Putin there. Very possibly the revolt there was funded and fomented by the US.
Georgia - (2008 - 3 days or so) - According to the EU - Georgia started this (at the urging of Dick Cheney).
Ukraine - (2022-present) - How and why Russia invaded is a huge separate topic.
By my calculations, Russia has had 3 "wars" in Europe in the last 33 years. Not exactly "constantly hostile" here in Europe.
In Ukraine, it has taken Russia nearly 3 years to take about 20% of Ukraine. At this rate, it will take Russia another 12 years to take the rest of Ukraine. After that, Russia would be at a NATO state border, and Putin will be 84.
Are you really concerned that in 2036 an 84-year-old Putin is going to attack NATO nations?
