"Remember their essence?" What if their "essence" is aggressive ad hominem diatribes, and warm fuzzies are only 5% of them?

You can turn your other cheek all you want, bud. That ain't me. I did that for decades, and 90% of the time all it did was encourage more bad behaviour. Yes, I feel a twinge of guilt for the 10% that I wrongly tell to get stuffed, but life is short, and time and effort wasted on the other 90% make it a price I'm willing to pay. Let me repeat: decades of experience.
